SO there was too much that happened over the weekend! From rappers getting shot, Jamaicans making history, to celebrity breakups and horrible live performances, we got ALL the tea and we’re ready to spill it. Let’s get to it!

1. Beanie Sigel Gets Shot

Rapper Beanie Sigel, was shot outside his Pleasantville home on Friday, Dec. 5th. The 40-year-old Philadelphia native was shot during an altercation on Spruce Avenue, police said at the time. The chief said he was shot in his abdomen and the bullet went straight through, out his back.

According to NBC10 reports, Sigel has been sedated and is unable to talk with police . His lawyer told the news station that it appears the rapper wasn’t the target of the shootin. Sigel is still in critical condition in an intensive care unit.

As of today, Pleasantville police have searched Sigel’s home, but have no leads and no new information, other than what was reported to the press earlier — that the driver of a car that fled the scene of the shooting was held for questioning on Friday but released, according to the Press of Atlantic City.

2. Mariah Carey BOMBS at Christmas in Rockefeller

Mariah Carey’s latest live performance has been under crucial scrutiny from those on social media. Kicking off NBC’s annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center special in NYC on Wednesday night, the songstress belted out her holiday hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” Because she missed the show’s taping on Tuesday, she sang live instead of using a prerecorded production and honey let’s just say she wasn’t her usual stellar self. Twitter users’ reactions ranged from very supportive to rather critical.

This is not the first time Carey has been scolded for her recent performances, as she had some trouble hitting a few high notes during a Tokyo concert back in October. You can watch the video below and be the judge.

3. Bill Cosby Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame Gets Vandalized

Los Angeles police are investigating the vandalism of comedian Bill Cosby’s star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, which was marked with the word “rapist,” officials said. A photo of the vandalism surfaced on social media Friday morning, showing “rapist” scrawled across the star three times in marker. By midmorning, a cleaning crew was on scene.

Ana Martinez, a spokeswoman for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which helps oversee the Walk of Fame, said she became aware of the incident Friday morning. Martinez said the chamber also filed a police report.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an institution celebrating the positive contributions of the inductees,” Martinez said in a statement. “When people are unhappy with one of our honorees, we would hope that they would project their anger in more positive ways than to vandalize a California State landmark.” “The star is being cleaned up at this time,” the statement ended.

LAPD Capt. David Storaker, who oversees the LAPD’s Hollywood patrol, confirmed a crime report was taken.

4. Todd Tucker and Kandi Burruss Say Farewell to Miss Sharon

Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Todd Tucker and wife Kandi Burruss said their final goodbyes to Tucker’s mother Miss Sharon Saturday, Dec. 6, in a homegoing celebration fit for royalty.

Miss Sharon’s funeral included a beautiful white-horse carriage that carried her all-white casket. Todd caption the snapshot of his mother’s carriage on his Instagram, “Next stop heaven!!! Love you mama!”

Kandi, who had a wonderful relationship with her mother-in-law, wrote, “The home going service for #MamaSharon was beautiful today. I appreciate everyone who came to be with us & those who sent their well wishes & prayers. Thank you @JPdesignsart for designing the program. It was beautiful! “Riley also posted a photo from Saturday’s funeral simply stating, “R.I.P”

Miss Sharon’s program was created by celebrity graphic designer John Paul Moore.

You’ll truly be missed Mother Sharon. Our prayers are with Todd and his family.

5. Toni Braxton Sues Ex Husband For Back Child Support

Giantto and Von Dutch Watches Host Party at Light Nightclub at Bellagio Hotel and Casino Resort

THEE Toni Braxton has had it with her ex-husband, Keri Lewis’ refusing to pay child support, and is now turning the issue over to the judicial system. Six-time Grammy Award-winning songbird filed legal documents on October 31, within the Georgia court system in an effort to receive back child support from Keri.

Braxton and Keri, who share two children Denim Cole Braxton-Lewis and Diezel Ky Braxton-Lewis, were married in 1998 and separated in 2009 after 12 years of marriage, with the divorce being finalized in 2013.

According to TheJasmineBrand.com, the lawsuit is requesting that Keri pay the $2,000 a month he was originally ordered to pay for the support of their children along with the back child support he’s neglected throughout the agreement.

The choice to sue may come as a shock to some fans who follow Braxton on the hit reality TV show,Braxton Family Values seeing how Toni and Keri seem quite happy on film. Even earlier this year during an interview with Bethenny Frankel on “Bethenny,” Toni stated that she and Keri have a great relationship and claimed to have had a very “white divorce,” meaning she and he were on good terms with each other.

Hopefully the two can get it together in court and still maintain their amicable relationship after it’s all said and done.

6. Lil Wayne Wants Off Of Cash Money Label

Lil Wayne went in on Twitter on Friday detailing a disunion between him and his longtime label Cash Money and its head, Birdman. Wayne accused the label of prolonging the release of his anticipated album, Tha Carter V, for reasons unspecified. Wayne went on a  four-tweet rant, calling himself a “prisoner,” implying that his creativity has been stifled. As such, he wants off the label—”but unfortunately it ain’t that easy,” he added.

Weezy’s first born, Reginae went to Twitter to defend her father.

He named Birdman—aka Baby—in particular of delaying the record’s release, saying he and the label “refuse” to release it. Pusha T wasted no time to respond to Wayne’s tweets, suggesting he leaves his label and join G.O.O.D. Music.

TMZ caught up with Wayne’s manager, Cortez Bryant, who acted like everything was all good.

“We good,” he told the entertainment news outlet. “I’m smiling. I wouldn’t be out at the club right now.”

He later jumped on Twitter saying, “Sarcasm at an all time high.”

Back in October, Birdman spoke on the delay on Lil’ Wayne’s album, insinuating that pushing its release back was Wayne’s idea.

“[Wayne]’s so much an artist like that,” he said. “He change his mind a lot. He feel like he want to do more. Really, they be on they call. It ain’t on me. So whatever Wayne want to do, Nicki want to do. I leave that up to them. I don’t decide on dates and everything. I don’t do none of that.”

Some fans found it hard to believe the rapper would split from his longtime label but he confirmed his message during a live performance at VICE‘s 20th anniversary party. Apparently, Lil’ Wayne’s days with the label are numbered. He addressed his shocking tweets in Brooklyn on Friday saying,

“It’s a f–ked up situation, but I will be out of it soon, and I do it for y’all.” Check out the video below.

 7. Annie Premiered At Ziegfeld Theater in NY

Jay Z is among the producers for the new film adaptation of the Broadway musical Annie, which held its New York premiere on Sunday. Beyonce and daughter Blue Ivy, showed up to support, arriving in coordinated winter coats.

Other celebrities such as La La Anthony  and Meagan Goode also came out to the premiere.

8. Black Out Hollywood

Via LA Times–Hundreds marched peacefully down Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles on Saturday to protest the killing of unarmed African American men by police, the latest in a series of demonstrations across the nation in recent weeks.

The march, called Blackout Hollywood, began about noon at Hollywood Boulevard and Argyle Avenue and continued west along Hollywood Boulevard to the TCL Chinese Theater. Tyrese was among several celebrities who came out to peacefully protest.

Many demonstrators dressed in black clothing while others held both hands in the air and lay down on the pavement in protest. Some held signs and chanted refrains such as “black lives matter,” “hands up, don’t shoot” and other slogans that have become widespread in protests against recent cases in Staten Island, N.Y.; Ferguson, Mo.; and Los Angeles.

“We blacked out Hollywood for a couple of hours to bring awareness to the issues that are going on in America right now: police brutality, the lack of justice for Eric Garner, Michael Brown and the failure of our judicial system,” said Darnell Appling, 27, of North Hollywood, a television actor who organized the march.

The demonstrators blocked traffic, including the Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue intersection.

The march was planned over social media several days prior to that shooting, which took place in front of crowds of pedestrians and motorists in the popular tourist and shopping district. Police have not released the identity of the man killed in the officer-involved shooting, but described him as white and said he was a suspect in a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.

About 70 officers were on the scene Saturday afternoon to monitor demonstrators and facilitate the movement of the crowd, but they made no arrests, said Lt. Michael Ling of LAPD’s Hollywood station.

Joseph Murphy, 50, took the bus and subway from Mid-City to Hollywood to voice his frustration over recent shootings by police and the grand jury decisions in Missouri and New York.

“Like most people I was here because I’ve been disturbed by all of these shootings,” he said. “We were here to show ourselves, to be counted, to say, yes, I’m here and I want to be heard.”

9. Monami Holiday Party

Love and Hip-Hop producer, Mona Scott-Young held her annual Monami Holiday party star at LA venue in NYC this past Saturday.  Several celebrity guests, including Love and Hip Hop cast members  Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez, Rich Dollaz, Tara Wallace, and Cyn Santana, attended the event. Mona Scott-Young’s husband Shawn Young and children Justin and Jordan were also in attendance. Of course, per usual, Miss Puerto Rican herself, Joseline Hernandez showed up in a very revealing red lace dress. Help her Father God!

10. Chris Brown and Karrueche Break Up

So over the weekend Chris Brown and his on again off again girlfriend Karrueche Tran have battled it out via social media and the catastrophic turn events made prime time news on every blog site!!!! It all started On Friday when the  25-year-old R&B singer announced on stage at the 2014 Cali Christmas concert that he is “single,” adding, “F–k that bitch!”

Brown decided not to wallow in his sorrows but yet hang with the Kardashian sisters instead.

Tran, his 26-year-old on-again, off-again girlfriend, later responded by tweeting:

The next day Tran decided to let all her feelings out via Instagram when she posted this message:

Chris brown didn’t like that Tran was playing victim and decided to expose her for various things including her behavior in their early stages of their relationship and the implying that Tran cheated on him with Drake while he was locked up.

Sources connected with Drake say there’s NO truth to the dating allegation … he says Karrueche isn’t even his type. As one source puts it, “Drake’s an ass man. Think about it, all the strippers he gets with … the first out of his type was Rihanna.” Drake acknowledges he hung out with Karrueche in Toronto but only because she was friends with a girl who he was hooking up with.

Celebrities all over including Charlamagne and Lil Duval responded to the madness.

But it was one celebrity’s post that caught Brown’s attention the most and that was Plies.

After the dust settled, Brown apologized to Tran earlier today via IG stating:

As for right now, Tran IG has been disabled and she has yet to respond to Chris Brown’s apology.
