Stephanie Moseley, who appeared on the VH1 show “Hit the Floor,” was found dead in an apparent murder-suicide involving her boyfriend, rapper Earl Hayes. Police made the discovery in Los Angeles on Monday. Moseley starred as a Devil Girl cheerleader on the series, and had previously appeared on “Hellcats.”  She also served as a choreographer and dancer in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” and “Mirror Mirror.”

According to TMZ, residents of the La Palazzo apartment building near The Grove heard gunshots early Monday morning, leading to a response from a SWAT team. When police knocked down the door, they discovered the bodies of Moseley and Hayes. Both had died of gunshot wounds.

VH1 released a statement to Us Weekly Monday evening, mourning the death of the dancer. “We are incredibly saddened to hear the news of the passing of Stephanie Moseley,” the network said. “VH1 and the entire Hit The Floor family send our thoughts and condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time.”

The initial radio call to police reportedly indicated that there were approximately a dozen shots. Police heard additional shots fired after they entered the building. Law enforcement sources have not said who shot whom, but neighbors reportedly heard Moseley screaming.

Reports implied that Hayes had accused Moseley of cheating with a famous singer. Some reports have even stated that Floyd Mayweather, best friend to Hayes, was on Facetime when the suicide-murder took place.

Celebrities like Ashley Tisdale, 50 Cent,  Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Niecy Nash, Columbus Short, and many more also responded to the reported murder-suicide deaths of the dancer and rapper on Monday, remembering Moseley for her beauty, kindness, and talent as a dancer. Rapper 50 Cent even squashed his beef with Floyd Mayweather giving recognition in an Instagram post.

“RIP Hayes,” the rapper wrote. “@floydmayweather you are my little brother. All can think about is what you said to me up stairs. Don’t you ever do nothing to your self no matter what champ. We can fall out and fight or what ever, but I don’t want to see you go out like that. #SMSAUDIO #POWER #FRIGO.”
